I got e-mailed a headline I couldn't even believe .... concerning a scandal in a local church. Not only did another church expose all the bones in a local pastor's closet ... but the story ended up on a national gossip site, MEDIATAKEOUT.COM ...
I know of plenty of preachers in the SBC who are guilty of adultery/infidelity (with congregation members no less), fathering children outside their marriage, and stealing from the church ... but usually the church does their best to keep it quiet ... but this time, the dirty laundry has been dumped out for the world to see ... Honestly, I wish more people would call these "servants of God" to the carpet and remove them from our churches so they will stop corrupting what should be a place of worship and spirituality ... It's a cancer that's ruining our churches and needs to be dealt with ...
(p.s. The pastor in question is from Bright Star, and the church that exposed them is Mt. Zion ... the story has a misprint).
