Horseshoe Casino and Hotel is proud to present CAGE KINGS professional mixed martial arts fighting at the Riverdome. The fights will take place on Friday, March 20th. Doors open at 7pm and the fights start at 8 p.m.
CAGE KINGS will be bringing in some of the top pro fighters from around the region to compete for fame. Eight featured fights will include Texas standouts, Derrick Krantz and Will Campuzano.
In the Main Event, the fighter holding the world's fastest knockout record, Cale Grady, will battle it out with Shreveport local Chad Leonhardt. Shreveporter Blake Franklin will fight against David Mitchell. Bossier City's Brandon Rondon squares off against trainer to UFC Fighters, Matt Hamilton. (All fights subject to change).

St. Jude Catholic Church has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to build an expansive home for nine local children who have lost their mother.
The group is planning a dinner and silent auction to start at 6:30 p.m. Saturday March 21 with a reception and silent auction at the Knights of Columbus hall on East Texas Street in Bossier City.
From 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. there will be a dinner and live auction at the hall. The gala evening will include a cash bar, hors d'oeuvres, and a silent auction.
The evening will have more than a few surprises with church deacons acting as waiters and parish priests as guests. KTAL-TV's Todd Warren will be the master of ceremonies.
