This weekend's BIGGEST headline (at least for college football fans and alumni) was GSU's victory at the State Farm Bayou Classic -- their first win since 2004.
The win over Southern gave them a spot in the SWAC Championship, a feat they failed to manage several times this decade -- but finally overcame.
So CONGRATS to the Tigers of North Louisiana ... Not only did they win the Battle of the Bands this Bayou Classic Weekend (as they almost ALWAYS do in recent years), but they won the GAME too! :)
