The Caddo Parish School Board is holding several informational meetings on Tuesday (12.9), Wednesday (12.10), and Thursday (12.11) to discuss schools in Caddo Parish that were deemed "Academically Unacceptable" by the state of Louisiana.
The meetings are for staff, parents, students and the community to learn more about the proposal by the new Caddo Parish Superintendent to revamp/restructure the schools. Each meeting will be held at the respective school.
Here are the schools holding meetings with meeting times:
TUESDAY NIGHT:
- Caddo Heights Elementary School @ 5 pm
- Linwood Middle School @ 6 pm
- Woodlawn High School @ 7 pm
WEDNESDAY NIGHT:
- Linear Middle School @ 6 pm
- Green Oaks High School @ 7 pm
THURSDAY NIGHT:
- Barrett Elementary School @ 5 pm
- J. S. Clark Middle School @ 6 pm
- BTW High School @ 7 pm
The other Caddo schools on the list are: Oak Park Elementary, Bethune Middle, and Fair Park High. Meetings at those schools were held on Monday night.

ON A LIGHTER NOTE:
Caddo Magnet High School will be holding an academic celebration Tuesday morning. The school has recently been named a Blue Ribbon school ... which marks it as one of the best in the NATION.
The ceremony will give school officials the chance to share the award with the entire school ... it begins at 10:45 am. The high school will pair this exciting time with it's Founder's Day celebration, also held Tuesday morning.
