Shoppers braved the pouring rain (and chilly temperatures) on Friday morning to catch the holiday season's biggest bargains -- a day called BLACK FRIDAY ...
I couldn't believe there were people lined up at Target, Kohl's JC Penney and other retail giants at 4 am just to save money on the perfect Christmas gift -- but there they were, bright and early and ready to buy!!!
Unfortunately, I wasn't lucky enough to have the funds for Black Friday (actually, I NEVER have the funds this time of year lol), but I know with the economy in a deep recession, buyers were more eager than ever to save a few bucks and make it a Merry Christmas for a loved one. Not to mention the RETAILERS were more than happy to accomodate when they're struggling to break even themselves.

IN OTHER SHOPPING NEWS:
Some people don't know this but there's another popular shopping day after Thanksgiving ...
With millions of holiday shoppers staying at home and shopping from their computers, the popularity of Black Friday has given way to Cyber Monday -- the first day of the online shopping season!
On Monday, retailers and other online businesses will be offering special sales prices that you can take advantage of from the comfort of home!
I've done shopping online before and along with being able to avoid parking troubles, long lines and sold-out items, you don't pay taxes (don't tell the IRS lol) and most stores waive shipping fees as well!!!
- Check out the online sales at TARGET and CIRCUIT CITY (two of my favorites) or make sure you hit up your favorite store's site to get some MAJOR deals you can't get in the store!
