ATSBC and Mahogani Media have been on the SERIOUS grind this weekend trying to get you EXCLUSIVE event news and bring you AMAZING spotlights on talented artists in the SBC.

Starting TOMORROW you'll get to see the fruits of our labor!!! But today, let's get to the WEEKEND EVENTS :)

Of course there's a lot going on in the community (and arts) ... Today is the LAST day catch AMERICAN VIOLET at the RFC ... go to www.robinsonfilmcenter.org (or check out my blog from earlier this week) to get more info ...

Hit up the ROOFTOP PARTY at Horseshoe Casino, listen to HOT JAZZ on the Shreveport Riverfront, check out the amazing play TIDEWATER at the LSUS Black Box Theatre, listen to Spoken Word, Poetry and song at POETIC PARADISE, catch a game featuring the SHREVEPORT AFTERSHOCK (all-female football team), or see some NFL PROS hitting the hardwood for a good cause.

Nothing on Friday ... the only party I know of is INVITE ONLY :) I'll be there and if I'm allowed, I'll post pics on Monday ...

ON SATURDAY ...

Another private party ... by invite only ... BUT you can always check out some Saturday Sophistication at Adam's Lounge:

CROWDPLEASER ENTERTAINMENT will be in the building, doing what they do best .. keeping the party going! Join DJ MARLE MAR at the team ... Doors open at 9 pm ... Good music, cheap drinks and NO DRAMA ... Sounds like perfectoin to me :)

ON SUNDAY ...

Joining the effort to bring DRAMA-FREE events to the SBC ... SHREVEPORT NIGHTLIFE is doing it MAJOR this summer, hosting parties THREE NIGHTS A WEEK! (I'm tired just thinking about it) ...

The first of the series will be held this Sunday at the Funny Bone Complex. Called SO FLY SUNDAYS .. the event will cater to the Young & Fly.

Admission is $10. 18 to enter, 21 to drink ... Drink Specials all night ... DJ STAR will be on the 1's and 2's ... Doors open at 8 pm.

SN's events continue with parties on Wednesday and Friday nights as well ... More details coming ...

FLASHING FORWARD ....

Next weekend is going to be a big one for the cultured and classy .... (LOL).

RHO OMEGA and FRIENDS will present the annual LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL FESTIVAL next weekend. Along with good food/drink and great vendors .. you'll get to hear some GREAT music.

Amazing local acts (including one of my favorites, INTUTION) will grace the music stages during the weekend. National acts include Lattimore, Pretty Ricky and JOE! ... Go HERE for more information on the festival ...

On Friday night, June 19th ... THE MARCHE' GROUP MIXER returns to fill ENCORE to capacity once again :)


Tickets are available from Marche' Group members, or by going to Boss Man's Barber World, Phazes, Divas & Dolls or M&M.


Tickets are $10 in advance. At the door, the price goes up to $20. The last one sold out and the building is NEVER big enough so get there EARLY!

VIP ENTERPRISES (formerly known as VIP Entertainment) is returning the SBC Event Scene in a big way ... with their TOTALLY EXCLUSIVE event ... to be held at GIGI's CLUB NEW YORK on Friday, June 26th ...
