We are desperately seeking volunteers. We've had a great, bustling campaign office today, but this close to the election, we need more.
We want to call every Democratic and Obama-supporting voter in the state and remind them that they need to get to the polls - with a photo ID and withOUT wearing any campaign paraphernalia - and also offer them a ride, if they need one!
I know not all of you are into phone calling. But we've had our most anti-phone-call people on the phones all day because they know the importance of what we're doing - every single phone call is a vote. And these are friendly calls! :)
Still, for those who are not inclined, we need lots of canvassers to go door-to-door on Election Day, we need general office and reception help, data entry, and much, much more.
The time is now. We should all be feeling a sense of urgency - (time is running out) to really make a difference for the candidate we all know and love. Recent polls have shown that this race in Louisiana is much closer than we think - every single vote counts.
Please come help if you can - and THANK YOU for everything you've already done!
