The Real Cowboy Association (RCA) bring the National Black Rodeo Finals to the CenturyTel Center this Saturday, November 15th.
A lot of SBC residents look forward to this annual event every November. It's almost as popular as the Bayou Classic (and WAY cheaper).

The RCA men and women (yes FEMALE cowboys) ride into to town this weekend and plan to entertain the masses as they compete in events like: Bareback Riding, Calf Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping and Bull Riding.
Additional entertainment will be provided by R&B Singer AVANT (who was here a couple of weeks ago) and the GSU Marching Band.
The show begins at 8 pm. Tickets are under $20 but if you haven't gotten them already, you'll probably be sitting in the rafters somewhere.

Note: The official AFTERPARTY is at Adam's Lounge, where DJ Marle-Mar will take over "pleasing the crowd" (pun intended lol).
I'm sure there will be lots of muscled cowboys in attendance ... though I won't be at the show itself, expect an appearance at the after-party.
