EVENT PICS: Young & The Restless Fashion Show/Mixer

DJ Marle-Mar said it best Friday night ... "You've never seen anything like this is Shreveport-Bossier."

CROWPLEASER ENT. and FASHION HP brought a truly DIFFERENT event to the SBC's Downtown Holiday in with the "Young & The Restless" event.

Along with a chance to network and mingle, the event offered a look at some very unique designers ... featuring clothing for (and worn by) members of the 9 Black Greek-letter organizations.

The crowd (and paparazzi) came out to see the Greek fashions ... as did I ...

... but I was so busy trying to see what I wanted to buy that my pics came out a little blurry (wasn't so quick on the trigger) ... but I'll be posting some others from my photog friends soon ...Here are some shots from the STOMP THE RUNWAY show ...

I know this is blurry but let's focus on the washboard body of this OMEGA brotha ... Oh my ...

There were plenty of other fashions and EVERY organization was represented on-stage except Delta Sigma Theta (even the IOTAS ... speaking of which, shout out to the lone Centaur who rocked the Ricky Bobby -- Iota style lol) ... but ALL of the NPHC were represented in the crowd.

After the show ... the sororities and frats got to struttin' ...

Then the models stopped and got in some press time with ITV, an online broadcasting company.

And then some of the models posed for ya girl :) (of course my soror and frater above with the dove love!)

The ladies of SGRho (yes that is a Gamma Rho business bag she's holding, that was part of the show!)

The NUPES were in the building ... these boys were fierce (in a totally heterosexual way) on the runway :)

And, after checking their mirrors, these lovely ladies of AKA posed for the ATSBC frame :)

And DJ Marle-Mar struck an ALPHA pose for me too ...

The evening was an AWESOME success (in my eyes). I'd LOVE to see more things like this in the SBC (and more people at them!!!) ... Thanks to CPE and FHP for the love ... (See more pics from the show HERE).


By the way, most of the Greek fashions came from RealGreekApparel.com ... check them out for some UNIQUE stuff (you know probates, beach parties, greek shows, etc are comeing up so get your ish!)...
