Volunteers sought for SPAR programs
SPAR is seeking volunteers for the after-school program, senior program, therapeutic recreation program and special events program.
SPAR recognizes its volunteers at an annual luncheon, which will be held April 29 at A.B. Palmer Park.
Also, State of Louisiana Home Bill No. 949 provides up to a $500 tax deduction for persons who volunteer for a recreation department.
SPAR volunteers must be 18 years of age and agree to a criminal background check. For more information, call Germaine Williams at (318) 673-7873.
