WEEKEND HAPZ: Hanging With The Ivy & Other Interesting Events

In case you haven't been out and about lately, the ladies of ALPHA KAPPA ALPHA Sorority (Inc.) are painting the SBC pink and green this weekend ... The ladies are holding a convention right here in town and are all over the city making moves for sisterhood.

Tonight and tomorrow night you can mingle with the ladies at the Bijou Ultra Lounge. Tonight they're holding a happy hour from 6 pm to 9 pm and tomorrow night there will be a party starting at 9 pm. The rest of the weekend's events are just for Sorors (lol), but I figured the fellaz might want that 411.


As for the rest of the SBC and what you might want to get into this weekend ... here are some options:



TONIGHT ... you can: Go check out the films of ANG LEE at the RFC ... Take the family to see the Movie & Moonbeams presentation of "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" at Riverview Park ... or go XPRESS YOURSELF at the all new City Bar where there is no cover charge!!! :)


SATURDAY NIGHT ... you can: Go see some comedy (maybe even for FREE) at the Funny Bone ... Sample some select wines at the CORK event in Festival Plaza ... Indulge in some culture by viewing French Cinema at the RFC .... Enjoy some jazz at the BPCC Spring Concert ... or Check out some BATTLEWINGS action at the CenturyTel ...
