EVENT ALERT: MLK Spring Fest 2010


The campus of SUSLA is about to become a hot spot for events, as they present MLK Spring Fest 2010.

The week-long event kicked off this past Saturday with an All-White Affair hosted by Hosea Sanchez ("Malik" on the hit show "The Game"), talent show auditions and on-campuse events just for alumni and students.

Tonight, the big events kick off, starting with a Comedy Show featuring funny-man MICHAEL BLACKSON (Repos, Comic View, Next Friday):







The MICHEAL BLACKSON COMEDY SHOW will take place in SUSLA's Jesse N. Stone Building, starting at 7 pm. General Admission is $10.00, Student Admission is $7.00. Also performing: J. "Scooby" Houston, Nathan Massey and Ms. Peachez.



ON FRIDAY:


10 AM - Spring Fest Friday (in front of SUSLA Gym)

A variety of entertainment including: Fashion Show, Freestyle battle, Live DJ, Food, Outdoor Games, and much more.



12 PM - SUSLA Spring Fest Fashion Show (in front of SUSLA Gym)

Models will show off the latest spring trends. Also featured: Musical guests and dancers.








7 PM - SUSLA GOT TALENT [SHOW] @ Jesse N. Stone Bldg.

Talent show featuring the hottest talent in the city. The winner will win a $500 Dollar Grand Prize, Studio Time and Bragging Rights!!!! General Admission: $7.00, Student Admission: $5.00




ON SATURDAY:


8 AM: BCM Morning Fellowship @ SUSLA Jesse N. Stone Bldg.






1 PM: 2nd Annual HowURidin Ballers Classic @ SUSLA Gym

Tourney will feature the best ballers in the Ark-La-Tex. 5-on-5, Next Level Dunk Contest, 3-point Shootout, Live Music/DJ, Giveaways, Food, Fun and MORE! Admission is $7. The Classic will continue on Sunday at 1 pm as well. (FMI call 318-572-4064)
