THURSDAY HAPZ: Good Times in the SBC :)

This time last week I was preparing to see KEVON EDMONDS live at the Bijou.

I know I never wrote about the event, but trust that it was classy ... and KEVON sang his heart out (and looked quite dapper while doing it).

I wasn't one of the long line of ladies grabbing at him, feeling him up or dying to take a pic (I've long lost my sense of being starstruck) ... but I was quite impressed with the event.

Save for the blown fuses (post-show) that shut the DJ down, it was a great look for the Bijou. (I'll post pics later)

FLASHING FORWARD TO TONIGHT ... It's actually a THURSDAY with something to do!!!

DURING THE DAY --- The State Fair opens today (at 10 am) and will run through Nov. 8th! Althought the rides are nice .... I look forward to the fair for the FOOD ... a turkey leg, corn dog and funnel cake ... Please and thank you!!!! :)

Go to www.statefairoflouisiana.com to check out all the new and interesting things at the fair this year (including the safari zoo).
