Ok, so I'm usually not biased when it comes to events for the Weekend Hapz, but with not a lot in the nightlife department, this is the perfect time to do a shameless plug (and then give you some other events on the low ..) .. so here goes ...
In honor of the 20th Anniversary of Spike Lee's highly-acclaimed (and controversial film) DO THE RIGHT THING, the Robinson Film Center is showing the Spike Lee Joint all this weekend!!!
There's only ONE showing each night: Friday at 7:45 pm, Saturday at 5 pm, and Sunday at 2:45 pm. Ticket times vary, but go HERE, to see showtimes, or to purchase tickets online.
I'm hoping to see EVERYONE out there, even with limited resources for promotion and advertising, I hope this event is successful because if it IS, then that will help us get MORE Black films in rotation at the RFC.
So come out, bring a friend (or two) .. Make it a date night or Guys/Girls Night Out ... I'll be giving away a Prize Pack (including the 20th Anniversary DVD) at each screening.
COME SUPPORT UNIQUE EVENTS!!! :-)
