Hood balladeer Lyfe Jennings is back on the scene with a brand new album, LYFE CHANGE. This is the third album for the raspy-voiced singer/songwriter and so far, it's getting good reviews. (Stay tuned for mahogani's).
From what I heard through the album sampler, he's still singing about love (that much hasn't changed) but the bangin' beats add a little more hip-hop to Lyfe's soulful lyrics.
Cop the album at Target for only $8 through Saturday (May 3rd), elsewhere it's selling for about $10.
Buying the album isn't the only way to enjoy Lyfe's music. He'll be right here in the SBC on Friday, May 9th at KoKoPellis in downtown Shreveport.
Though KoKo is known for it's long lines and crunk crowds on the weekends, concert promoters guarantee this event is strictly for the "Grown & Sexy." Doors open at 10 pm.
Tickets are available at Lil' J's, Lakeshore All Around Sounds, and House of Style in Shreveport; and Vernon's Barber Shop in Bossier (Heart O' Bossier Shopping Center). Tickets are $20 at the door.
