EVENT ALERTs: Easter Fun in the SBC

10 am: Calvary's Eggfest @ The Boardwalk

Join us the Louisiana Boardwalk for a day filled with fun & games for all children, 10 and under. Over 60,000 eggs to hunt! Fun Egg Hunt, Pictures with the Easter Bunny, Prize Give Aways, Inflatables Balloons, Concessions, Face Painting, Puppet Shows, Live Music, And much more! FREE admission.



11 am: Easter Egg-stravaganza @ Sci-Port Discovery Center

Local yolkels can come explore the incredible, edible egg. We'll be scrambling and serving up egg-citement in the form of presentations, hands-on activities and lots of make-and-take fun, all centered on the science of the egg. April 3 will be crackin' good fun. Admission is FREE.




11 am: Great Big Easter Celebration @ LSU-S Athletic Field

The Celebration Church will sponsor a Great Big Easter Celebration. There will be fun, food and door prizes, a mini carnival for the kids, bounce houses, a 10,000 egg Easter Egg Hunt. There will also be a mechanical bull for adults. A free gift to the first 150 people to register. Food includes Chick-fil-A, jambalaya, hot dogs, pizza, fried moon pies, funnel cakes, corn dogs, cotton candy and more.



... And of course many local churches will be hosting Easter Egg hunts and celebrations this Saturday including: Broadmoor Presbyterian Church in Shreveport (10 am), Central Assembly of God in Bossier (10 am), and The Hope Community Church of God in Shreveport (2 pm).

12 pm: Easter Champagne Brunch @ Jayne Marie on Cross Lake

Enjoy a wonderful Easter Sunday at the beautiful lakeside restaurant, Jayne Marie on Cross Lake. A wonderful Champagne Brunch will be served from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., along with live entertainment performed by Amelia Blake.
